Aqualicious!

So, as a hoarder of frames, I decided to kick it
up a notch and I was experimenting with a
frame-within-a-frame look...

What could be better than a framed frame?
But it still needs a little something, don't
you think?

Oh, come on! You knew I was going there! ;)

And yet, I was not satisfied...
I really have no room to hang another frame
on my walls! What I need is something to
hold more tchotchkes! (since I've got the
market cornered on that commodity!)

So, I decided that as much as I like that frame
within a frame look...it will have to wait for
another day. This frame was going to be
"morphed" into a tray!

To display a little of this...

...and a little of that...

...because I am just loving the aqua & white
look lately!!!
But I didn't want just any lackluster tray...
a slacker just setting there with no personality...
no intrigue...nope!

And what's more intriguing that "shell feet"? ;)

Well, I had no cute little nobs or anything else
remotely "footlike" so shells were just the ticket!
(do I need to change the name of this blog to
All Shells All The Time? ;)

A thrift store frame can be anything you want
it to be with just a bit of imagination!!!!! (the
smaller frame was 49 cents! ;)

  2. Both of your ideas are beautiful. I am a sucker for shells and I too am slowly but surely falling in love aqua! It is such a pretty and soothing color. I love the seashell "feet"! Just make sure the shells are empty...wouldn't want it crawling off the table top!
